Read, Repair, Write
An interactive CD-ROM describing the reading and writing you have to do to work in the auto repair industry. Includes how to write up reports on the repair jobs you do.

The Read, Repair, Write CD-ROM teaches basic reading and writing skills required at entry level in the automotive repair sector.
The first section teaches users how to read repair orders. The second covers how to access and consult basic repair texts such as service sheets, service bulletins, charts, and manuals. The third focuses on writing up a report at the end of a simple repair job. The automotive repair sectors covered are mechanical and servicing and also panel and paint.
Two characters in the CD, Kev a new car and Caz, a wily older one, lead the users through a series of workshops, each with a different repair or servicing job. Users will find the CD an entertaining and engaging tool for building their basic literacy skill in the automotive repair and service industry.
