This product may not work properly using modern PCs. We are investigating a solution to this difficulty.
Under normal braking conditions, ABS does virtually nothing except closely monitor vehicle braking conditions and perform regular self-testing (watchdog), in readiness for any traction loss during braking.
When abnormal braking conditions occur, the ABS computer senses the loss of traction between the tyre and road surface and immediately overrides the
brake hydraulic system to regain correct wheel traction.
This CD-ROM explains the basic principles, operation and safety procedures of ABS.
