The chemical, hydrocarbons and refining industry sources raw materials from the mineral/hydrocarbons exploration and mineral mining sectors. Its products are distributed to downstream processing plants as well as to the utilities industry, other manufacturing, and food and beverage sectors. Some sectors start with raw materials such as: common salt, sulphur or starch to produce their products.
