These qualifications play a critical role in supporting comprehensive national maintenance networks, Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) licensing arrangements, defence-related needs and associated technical activities. They support the development of comprehensive skills for aerospace personnel involved in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft and aircraft components.

MSA also has underway an ongoing review of aircraft manufacture (structures and components) training pathways.
